How to Submit
Submission Guidelines
Global Insights in Public and Preventive Health (GIPPH) accepts manuscript submissions exclusively through its Open Journal Systems (OJS) online submission platform. Authors are required to carefully follow the submission guidelines to ensure smooth editorial processing and efficient peer review.
Steps to Submit a Manuscript
Authors should follow the steps below to submit a manuscript:
- Register or log in to the journal’s online submission portal.
- Select “Make a New Submission” from the user dashboard.
- Follow the guided submission steps:
- Confirm submission requirements
- Upload manuscript files (main manuscript, title page, figures, tables)
- Enter metadata (title, abstract, keywords, author information)
- Upload supplementary documents (ethical approval, consent forms, declarations, if applicable)
- Carefully review all entered information and uploaded files.
- Submit the manuscript and receive an automatic confirmation email.
Authors may track the progress of their submission at any time through their OJS account.
Submission Checklist
Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that all requirements below are fulfilled.
Manuscript Formatting
✔ Manuscript is prepared according to the journal’s Author Guidelines
✔ File is submitted in .doc or .docx format
✔ All figures and tables are uploaded as separate files
✔ References follow the Vancouver (numbered) citation style
Title Page
✔ Complete author names and institutional affiliations are provided
✔ ORCID iD included (optional but recommended)
✔ Corresponding author details are accurate and up to date
✔ Author contribution statement is clearly stated
Ethical Requirements
✔ Ethical approval statement included, where applicable
✔ Informed consent obtained for case studies or identifiable participant data
✔ Manuscript is original and not under consideration or published elsewhere
✔ Plagiarism similarity is within acceptable limits
Declarations
✔ Conflict of Interest statement provided
✔ Funding information declared (if applicable)
Additional Documents
✔ Response letter uploaded for revised submissions
✔ Permissions provided for reused figures, tables, or copyrighted materials (if applicable)
Only submissions that fully comply with the above checklist will be considered for peer review.
