Peer Review and Publication Process
To ensure the highest academic standards, all submissions undergo a single-blind peer review process.
- Standard Review Timeline: 30 days (from submission to publication)
- Fast-Track Option: 15 days (available upon author request, with an additional fee)
Each manuscript is reviewed by qualified experts to assess originality, scientific quality, relevance, and impact on public health and preventive medicine.
Article Processing Charges (APC) and Waiver Policy
- Standard APC: 500 USD for all article types.
- Inaugural Issue Discount: 50% APC discount for the first three issues published in GIPPH.
- Waiver Policy:
- 50% discount for authors from low-income countries (as defined by the World Bank).
- 100% waiver for high-quality manuscripts from low-income countries that demonstrate exceptional academic or practical merit.
As an open-access journal, GIPPH ensures that all published content is freely accessible worldwide, without subscription or access barriers.
All articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing for sharing and adaptation with proper credit to the authors.
Indexing and Future Goals
Following the release of its inaugural issue, GIPPH will initiate applications for indexing and recognition across major academic databases, including:
- DOI registration
- Google Scholar
- WorldCat
- Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
Our long-term objective is to achieve inclusion in leading international indexing databases such as Scopus, PubMed, and Web of Science (WOS) — ensuring maximum visibility, academic impact, and global recognition for our authors.

GIPPH follows a shared copyright policy, allowing both authors and the journal to retain rights to published works.
