Reviewers Guidelines

GIPPH values the critical role of reviewers in maintaining scientific rigor, quality, and ethical standards.

Reviewer Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate Manuscripts Objectively – Focus on originality, methodology, clarity, and relevance.
  2. Provide Constructive Feedback – Offer clear, actionable comments for authors.
  3. Maintain Confidentiality – Do not share or use manuscript content for personal or professional benefit.
  4. Adhere to Timelines – Submit reviews within the assigned period (2–3 weeks; 15-day fast track optional).
  5. Recommend a Decision – Indicate if the manuscript should be: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Originality and novelty
  • Scientific rigor and methodology
  • Clarity of writing
  • Ethical compliance (human/animal studies, informed consent)
  • Relevance to clinical and advanced medicine
  • Accuracy and currency of references
