Conflict Interest Policy

To ensure impartiality, all reviewers and editors must declare conflicts of interest before accepting assignments.

Examples of Conflicts:

  • Financial or personal relationships with authors
  • Competing research or academic rivalry
  • Previous involvement in the work being reviewed

Procedures:

  • If a conflict exists, reviewers must decline the review.
  • Editors assign alternative reviewers to maintain neutrality.
  • All conflicts are handled confidentially.
