Retraction & Correction Policy
GIPPH is committed to maintaining accuracy, transparency, and integrity in the academic record.
Retraction
Articles may be retracted if:
- Evidence shows data fabrication, plagiarism, or unethical research practices.
- The work is found to have been previously published elsewhere without permission or proper citation.
- Significant errors invalidate the findings.
Procedure:
- The editorial team investigates any ethical concerns reported.
- Authors are given a chance to respond.
- If retraction is confirmed, a Retraction Notice is published in the next issue, clearly stating the reason.
- The original article remains online, watermarked as “Retracted,” to maintain the scholarly record.
Corrections (Errata)
Corrections are issued for:
- Minor errors (typographical or formatting) that do not affect conclusions.
- Author name spelling, affiliations, or reference list issues.
Article Withdrawal
Before publication, authors may request withdrawal within 2 days of submission.
post-publication withdrawal is not permitted except in exceptional cases approved by the Editor-in-Chief.
