Plagiarism & Screening Policy
GIPPH upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.
Plagiarism Detection
All submitted manuscripts undergo a comprehensive plagiarism screening before peer review using advanced plagiarism detection software (such as iThenticate, Turnitin, or equivalent).
Acceptable Similarity Threshold
- A manuscript with similarity below 15% (excluding references, tables, and quotes) is considered acceptable.
- A similarity index above 25% will lead to automatic rejection or revision request before peer review.
- Self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, or overlapping submission to other journals is strictly prohibited.
Author Responsibility
Authors must ensure their work is original, properly cited, and free from copyright infringement. Any ethical breach identified at any stage will result in appropriate action, including manuscript withdrawal or retraction.
